Anti-Bullying Steps
Gaston School District does not tolerate bullying in any form (including cyberbullying). If you have been bullied or you have seen or suspect that someone else is being bullied, please contact your administrator, Laura Christensen (PK-6) or Jesse Johnson (JH/HS).
At the Elementary level, we teach Second Step Anti-Bullying Curriculum to encourage our students to know what bullying is, how to cope with bullying, and how to help others who are being bullied.
Remember, being bullied is NEVER your fault.
Also, remember, if you see bullying, for the safety of the person being bullied, please report it to your principal.

Recognizing Bullying
Bullying is when one or more people more than once, hurt, exclude, harass, intimidate, or exclude others. Bullying is unfair and one-sided. It ususally involves a power imbalance.
